I don’t understand how something like this just gets to sit here like it’s completely normal. This is supposed to be a nice neighborhood, the kind where people take pride in how things look, and yet there’s been a massive pile of dirt parked in front of someone’s house like it’s part of the landscaping plan. At first I figured maybe it was a one-day project, maybe some quick work getting done. But now it’s been over a week and it’s still just… there.
Every single day I drive past it and it somehow looks worse, like it’s settling in and getting comfortable. Meanwhile everyone else is mowing, edging, trying to keep their properties looking decent, and this just sits there like the rules don’t apply to certain people. It’s not just the eyesore either, it’s the message it sends. If one person can do this and nobody says anything, what’s next.
At this point I’m honestly done pretending it’s not an issue. I’m contacting the HOA because clearly waiting for basic consideration to kick in isn’t working. I shouldn’t have to be the one pushing for standards in a place where we’re all paying to maintain them. It just feels ridiculous that something this obvious has gone ignored for this long.
