I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY GRANDPARENTS STILL NEED TO FORCE THEMSELVES TO GO OUT WHEN THEY CAN’T EVEN HANDLE IT ANYMORE. I took my grandma to mass because she insisted, even though I kept saying maybe just stay home. She wouldn’t listen, said she really wanted to be there, so fine, I went with her.

Tell me why in the middle of everything she suddenly couldn’t hold it and the chair ended up like THIS. I’m just sitting there frozen while people around us start noticing, and I swear I wanted the floor to just open up and swallow me. I didn’t even know what to do so I literally grabbed a coffee, “accidentally” spilled it on the floor and left it there just so people wouldn’t immediately realize what actually happened. I just grabbed her and got out as fast as possible.

Respect goes both ways because if you know you can’t handle being out that long, why force it?? Not everything needs to be done in person, you can literally pray at home now. Instead I’m stuck dealing with something like this in public and acting like it’s normal. If you can’t control it anymore, maybe it’s time to stop putting yourself in situations like this.
