I just paid a ridiculous amount to have my garage floor poured and finished.

Brand new concrete, smooth, perfect, not even close to fully set yet… and I walk out to see a full trail of boot prints and dog prints stamped straight through the middle of it like it’s some public walking path.

Not one or two either. Whole tracks. Someone walked right through it, their dog right behind them, then just kept going like fresh concrete is the same thing as a sidewalk. You can literally see the entire route they took like they were exploring the place.

Come to find out one of the workers thought it would be fine to walk his dog through the garage while the floor was still wet. No heads up, no apology, nothing. Just walked across it and left the mess sitting there like it’s not a problem.

So now I’m standing here staring at permanent footprints baked into something I just paid thousands to have done. I call the company expecting them to fix it and they basically tell me the only way to repair it is to redo the entire pour.

Which means I’m supposed to just accept that my brand new floor is permanently ruined because someone couldn’t be bothered to keep their dog off wet concrete. And somehow I’m the one overreacting when I say that’s completely insane.
