Apparently the people on this street decided they’re the parking police now and took it upon themselves to immobilize my car because they think I’ve been ignoring warnings. One of the notes literally says LAST WARNING YOUR CAR IS IMMOBILIZED TOW TRUCK IS ON ROUTE THE ENTIRE STREET HAS BEEN WARNED ABOUT YOU.
Here’s the thing though, I’ve been parking on this street for months and suddenly everyone is acting like I committed a crime. There are multiple signs taped to my car talking about how I ignored the morning notice and some orange paper about street cleaning like I’m supposed to magically know the exact schedule for this block. Instead of just calling parking enforcement like normal people, these neighbors decided to gang up and basically trap my car themselves.
Now there’s a tow truck sitting a few cars behind me and half the street is probably watching out their windows like they just won some kind of victory. I’m standing there trying to figure out who thought it was okay to physically lock someone else’s car in the middle of the road like this. If my car disappears today I’m going to have a lot more questions than they probably expected.
