I was leaving CVS earlier, grabbing something for one of my sugar mommies, and when I got to my car I noticed someone left money on it with a note.

It said, “I’m so sorry, my hot chocolate went rogue in the wind, left some cash for a detail.”

At first I was like okay, at least they tried to take responsibility, but then I looked at the amount and it was $21. That’s when it started to feel ridiculous, because who actually thinks you can get a full detail for that cheap.

It low key felt more disrespectful than helpful at that point, like you went through the effort to leave a note but didn’t even think about what it would actually cost.

And the dumbest part is I didn’t even need a detail. All it really needed was a quick $5 car wash, something simple I could’ve handled in five minutes.

So now I’m just standing there with this note and $21, confused why people make things so weird when it didn’t even need to be that deep in the first place.
