I already knew something was off before I even opened it.
The note said, “so sorry, it just poured through the sunroof while I was trying to find a cup holder for my latte.” I open my door and my entire interior smells like coffee. Seats soaked, stains everywhere, it’s all over the place like he just dumped it inside and left.
I’m just standing there thinking how this even happens. Some random person really thought it made sense to set their drink on my car, on my property, without asking, and then just let it spill straight through the sunroof like that’s normal.
The $30 sitting there made it even worse. Like that somehow fixes it. This is at least a $700 problem to get the stains out, and he leaves me gas money like I’m supposed to be cool with it.
I checked the cameras when I got back inside and saw exactly who it was. It was this kid who’s dating my ex, just casually using my car like it’s his.
I went straight to his house after that and started egging the shit out of it. No note, no apology, nothing. Just made sure he had something to deal with too.
