man in front of us keeps digging in his pants like he searching for buried treasure. I’m not even exaggerating either. Every few seconds he scratching his whole backside then reaching up and grabbing food off the shelf. Chips, cereal bars, canned stuff… all with the same hands. I’m standing there looking at my kid like are we really watching this right now.
It gets worse. Dude scratches again, pulls his hand out his pants, then starts squeezing packages to “check them.” I said nah, absolutely not. I told him straight up “yo stop touching the food if you gonna keep digging in your butt like that.” He looks at me offended like I’m the crazy one.
At that point I grabbed the box he just touched, marched it to the front, and told the cashier they need to throw half that shelf away because mister scratch-and-sniff over there been seasoning everything with his hands. Manager comes over trying to calm me down but I’m heated because people really out here grocery shopping like this normal behavior.
I told them if I see him touch one more thing I’m clearing that whole shelf into his cart so he can buy every single item he contaminated. Nobody trying to feed their family butt-flavored groceries.
