There was a burger, nuggets, fries, all untouched. We figured instead of tossing it, someone who needed it could just take it.
As we’re walking out, this homeless guy gets up and starts yelling at us, saying we’re being disrespectful for not throwing our trash away. He’s going off like we did something wrong, making a whole scene in the middle of the place.
I’m just standing there confused because there’s literally food sitting right there that he could’ve taken. Instead of grabbing it, he’s arguing about the tray like that’s the bigger issue.
It turned into this unnecessary argument over something that wasn’t even meant to be a problem. We weren’t trying to disrespect anyone, we were trying to leave something behind that could actually help.
At that point I wasn’t even mad, just over it. We walked out, got back in the G wagon, and left it alone.
