i’m standing in line trying to get through and everywhere i look it’s slippers, blankets, full-on bedtime outfits like people just rolled out of bed and said yeah this is fine. dragging bags with one hand and their dignity with the other. nobody even tries anymore, just walking around like the whole place is their living room and we’re all supposed to pretend that’s not insane
airports used to be somewhere people at least tried to look decent, now it’s messy hair, oversized hoodies, pajama pants like it’s some kind of sleepover convention. i don’t care if it’s “comfortable” because at some point you still gotta look like you left the house on purpose. this whole “i woke up like this” thing is getting ridiculous and people really act like it’s cute
and don’t get mad when people stare because you chose to show up looking like that in public. if you want to be comfortable that bad then stay home, because walking around like it’s bedtime in a crowded airport just looks lazy and weird
