what’s in this photo dropping out, tiny bugs, full clusters, mixed with strands, actually moving. At first I thought it was lint or dirt until one crawled and I just froze. There’s no way I’m pretending that’s normal.
I didn’t play nice about it either. I stepped back and told her straight up this isn’t “a little issue,” this is a full infestation sitting on her head while I’m supposed to be up close acting like a supportive boyfriend. She tried to laugh it off like I was overreacting, but I’m watching literal bugs pile up and I’m expected to just keep combing like it’s nothing.
So I dropped the comb, wiped my hands, and told her I’m not touching her hair again until it’s handled properly. She got mad, said I embarrassed her, but I’m not about to sit there and act comfortable while that’s falling out in real time. If basic hygiene turns into this, I’m not the one that needs to adjust.
Now it’s a whole argument because I “made it a big deal,” but I’m looking at what you can clearly see here and I’m supposed to downplay it? Not happening.
