I walked into Walmart today and saw an entire family shopping in full pajama mode — pajama pants, house slippers, oversized sleep shirts, messy hair, the whole “I just rolled out of bed” look.

And they weren’t the only ones.
At what point did we collectively decide that basic effort in public no longer matters? I’m not asking for suits and ties. I’m asking for real pants, actual shoes, and a little self-respect before walking into a store.
It’s not cute. It’s not “relatable.” It just looks lazy and makes the whole place feel rundown when people treat Walmart like an extension of their living room.
Yes, I took the photo because I was genuinely shocked. And yes, I’m tired of acting like this should be acceptable.
Have standards completely disappeared, or am I the one overreacting here?
