I even went through the trouble of putting the key right in the lockbox so this exact situation wouldn’t happen. Rain, snow, porch thieves, all avoided if the package goes where the sign says. Instead I come home and there it is, sitting out in the open getting soaked like the instructions were just decorative.
To the delivery driver who somehow managed to ignore the giant box sitting right next to my steps that literally says “deliveries please place in box, do not leave on stairs,” I’m honestly impressed by the level of effort it must take to miss something that obvious. The instructions are taped directly to the lockbox and somehow the package still ended up sitting on the stairs like the sign was invisible.
