To the guy on the bus this morning who apparently decided pants were optional, I’m really curious what part of getting dressed made you think this was a reasonable stopping point

I stepped onto the bus expecting a normal commute and instead the first thing I see is a grown man standing in the aisle holding the rail in nothing but a t-shirt and what looks like denim underwear.

This is a city bus where people are going to work, kids are riding to school, and everyone’s just trying to get through their morning without surprises. Instead the entire bus has to pretend this is normal while you’re standing there like you forgot the second half of your outfit.

Nobody said anything, everyone just stared at their phones like if we ignored it hard enough it would somehow become acceptable. But if you’re wondering whether the rest of the bus noticed, the answer is yes. It’s hard not to when someone boards public transit dressed like they stopped getting ready halfway through.
