Instead I walk into absolute chaos because apparently Michael B. Jordan decided to show up right after winning an Oscar and now the entire place is acting like it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. Phones everywhere, people screaming, workers abandoning what they’re doing just to crowd around him like the rest of us don’t exist.
And yeah, good for him, he won something, but why does that suddenly mean nobody else gets service? I’ve been standing there watching orders pile up while everyone’s focused on taking pictures and hyping him up like it’s a concert. I didn’t come here for a meet-and-greet, I came here for food, and now I’m stuck in the middle of a fan convention inside a burger place.
