I’m honestly at the point where I’m thinking of leaving my cat at the vet for months just so he “learns his lesson,” because everyone in the house is already scared of him.

He’s been biting, scratching, acting aggressive every time someone gets close, and I’m tired of walking on eggshells in my own home. That’s why I even let them restrain him like this in the first place, because I just wanted him to stop. But now I’m looking at him and thinking… am I actually fixing anything or just making it worse?

And don’t tell me “he’s just stressed” because at some point it stops being cute and starts being a problem. Not everyone has time to play therapist for a cat that keeps attacking people. If leaving him there for a while is what it takes for him to calm down then maybe that’s what needs to happen.

I don’t even know anymore if this is discipline or just me being fed up, but something has to change because this can’t keep going like this.
