Now I’m standing there doing the math in my head because last time I checked, I’m the one paying for everything in this house. Food, electricity, water, all of it. Meanwhile this kid is apparently running some kind of low-key operation and sitting on more cash than I keep in my wallet.
I don’t even know what kind of “side gig” he’s doing, and the fact he’s this quiet about it is making it worse. Like what are you doing that you can’t even explain properly? Because this doesn’t look like normal allowance money anymore.
Then it hit me, if he’s got money like this just sitting around, he can start contributing. You’ve been “saving”? Great. You can start saving the household bills too. Welcome to adulthood.
